THE BRIEF BRIEF: Bring live music back to the NYC buroughs during Covid shutdowns.


2020 was a year of challenges, especially for live music. As brands and musicians searched for ways to bring performances back to the public, virtual concerts, socially distanced shows, and drive-in performances attempted to fill the void—but nothing truly captured the energy of a live show. The question was: how could we recreate that magic without packed venues?

Enter Rooftop Sessions, a collaboration with Rolling Stone that brought live music directly to New Yorkers' windows. Bands performed from rooftops across the city, transforming ordinary nights into unforgettable moments. Residents danced and cheered from their apartments, musicians played with renewed passion, and even our Group Creative Director was moved to tears during a post-show Zoom call.

Beyond the in-person experience, Rooftop Sessions gained traction across social media, with performances shared widely and streamed live, ensuring the impact extended far beyond the city skyline.
