THE BRIEF BRIEF: When DoubleDown Casino received approval to add America's favorite slot machine to their lineup of online slots, they asked us to create a way for their fans to join the celebrations and share their experience over social channels.
The 'Wheel of Celebrations', allowed users to spin a Wheel of Fortune-style wheel that was automatically populated with their Facebook friends. Once the wheel landed on a friend, one of four videos played, incorporating their friend's profile photo into the experience. To drive participation, we used bi-weekly social media posts promising thousands of free coins for DoubleDown Casino.
Nerdy side note: We couldn't secure permission from Wheel of Fortune producers to use the real set. Consequently, we had the unique opportunity to construct a full-to-scale recreation of the actual stage.
